Week 9 Term 1

Well, we are almost at the end of Term 1 and I am just so proud of you all. You have worked hard on AS 90030 and at the moment everyone is passing. As I explained to you all, we now have the second half of the assessment to do on Tuesday. This will be the composition part of the assessment. You need to remember all the work you have done this term on the BBC site and use it in this assessment. Spellcheck and proofreading are essential, there should be no errors on the document you hand in for marking. On Wednesday I will bring in the chocolate cake I promised.

Saxoney, Steffannie, Ben, Candi and Mikayla will need to catchup.

You should all have uploaded the first half of the assessment (Women and Alcohol) to your blog. Put it in a post and add the heading Women and Alcohol AS 90030. You should add the second half to another post with the heading Women and Alcohol Composition AS 90030 when you have finished.

I will go through your blogs at the end of the week and add my comments so make sure that you have everything uploaded. You should have the following documents completed and uploaded:

We will continue with revision on spreadsheets and learn about adding graphs the rest of this week. Students who did not achieve this US in Year 10 and students who did not take Year 10 IM will sit US 18743 Spreadsheets at the beginning of the last week.

I just want to thank you all for an excellent term's work. You have tried hard at everything you have been asked to do and I cannot ask for more than that. Well done!
